Leeds vs Brentford: Early team news, predicted line-up, TV details

Leeds United host in-form Brentford in their first home Premier League match of the season this afternoon, kick-off two pm on Sky Sports Premier League and Sky Sports Ultra HDR.

According to yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk, Gabi Gudmundsson and Willy Gnonto were set to rejoin training on Friday, with fitness checks to follow before the Bees’ visit to Elland Road.

Gudmundsson has not played since a hamstring problem in the pre-season win over Liverpool in America. Gnonto is also yet to feature after sustaining a hamstring injury in the 1-1 draw with Manchester United in Dublin.

Midfielder Ilia Gruev is back in training after a meniscus knee injury in April. He returned last week and was initially expected to require at least two weeks of work before selection, though progress has been encouraging and he could be used if needed.

Predicted Leeds line-up: Trafford, Bogle, Rodon, Bijol, Muharemovic, Justin, Ampadu, Stach, Wilson, Aaronson, Calvert-Lewin.
