Liverpool will host Bournemouth and holders Manchester City will face Bradford in the Carabao Cup quarter-finals, both ties at home.

According to The Standard, both sides advanced via penalty shootouts on Wednesday, Liverpool edging Chelsea and Man City defeating Brighton in the fourth round.

At Anfield, in-form Bournemouth return as Andoni Iraola meets his former club again after overseeing a 1-0 Premier League win at the Vitality Stadium last month.

City, meanwhile, have been handed what looks a dream quarter-final, hosting League One Bradford at the Etihad Stadium.

Bradford have reached the EFL Cup last eight for the first time since their 2013 Wembley run, and face a daunting pre-Christmas trip to Manchester.

Fleetwood’s reward for beating Premier League champions Arsenal on Tuesday is another home tie, with opponents to be decided when Everton meet Newcastle in Thursday’s final fourth-round clash.

Crystal Palace beat Fulham to ease pressure on head coach Pierre Sage and will be at home to Sunderland, who overcame Brentford 3-2 at the Stadium of Light.

Quarter-final fixtures are pencilled in for the week commencing December 14th.
