Thomas Tuchel sticks to his principles, but should Cole Palmer be in England's squad?

So Cole Palmer misses out on the latest England squad and clearly his decision to miss out on the last camp has cost him.
The Chelsea playmaker is among the most creative players in the Premier League, but was a headline omission from the World Cup back in the summer. Thomas Tuchel has not hidden the fact he wants to see more from Palmer in an England shirt - and that's difficult when he pulls out of squads.
Jode Bellingham has got the nod, as has Josh King. Having those two in spots that could've been occupied by Palmer says a lot about how Tuchel views his squad.
The German said on Palmer's omission: "We're speaking about a player not in camp, it counts when you are in camp and he misses too many opportunities to impress.
HAVE YOUR SAY! Should Palmer have been included?
"It was a long camp and the player who were there built some extraordinary and that's why the credit goes to them. It's not personal and of course we will never assume that Cole is not in the mindset to come and desperate to play for his country, but the competition is on and the players who were in camp did an amazing job and kept their place."
Tuchel has made it known throughout his spell as boss that he will reward those who've delivered. He has also been big on the atmosphere in camp, and maybe he sees having Palmer potentially on the bench is not good for the dynamic. But then again, can you afford to leave a player with that much talent out?
