Another Premier League star robbed DURING match as partner shares 'distressing' statement

Everton forward Thierno Barry's home was broken into during Thursday's Carabao Cup tie against Newcastle United. The footballer's partner, Charlene, confirmed the shocking news in a statement posted on social media.
She wrote: "Unfortunately, our home was burgled this evening while we were at the football match. Thankfully, nobody was home at the time, but this is still an extremely distressing and violating experience for us and our family.
"If anyone has seen or heard anything suspicious, or has any information that could help, we would be incredibly grateful if you could get in touch. We are also willing to offer a financial reward for any information that helps identify those responsible. Thank you to everyone for your support."
The incident comes amid a troubling pattern of burglaries targeting footballers, with Nottingham Forest's Morgan Gibbs-White also falling victim to a break-in. His partner, Britney De Villiers, took to social media on Tuesday to warn others after their family home was targeted.

She said: "I wasn't going to publicly share this but our home was burgled a few days ago and after hearing about another one since, I feel it's important to just warn others. It's incredibly unsettling knowing that homes are being targeted. Please be extra vigilant, make sure your security systems are on whether you're in the house or not and report anything suspicious.
"Thankfully, nobody was home when it happened and material things can be replaced but it's a horrible feeling knowing someone has violated your home, especially when you have young children. Please stay safe and look out for one another."
Bruno Fernandes, meanwhile, saw his home ransacked by masked robbers during Manchester United's 4-1 loss to Como last week. A Cheshire Police spokesperson said: "At around 8.30pm on Wednesday 21 October, police were called to reports of suspicious activity at an address in the Alderley Park area of Nether Alderley.
"The caller reported three unknown men in the rear garden of a neighbouring property. Officers attended the scene and on arrival there was no trace of the suspects. However, officers discovered that there had been a burglary at the address and a number of items had been stolen."

Barry was playing his part in a 3-1 victory over Newcastle United while the break-in at his home occurred, with Everton progressing to the quarter-finals of the Carabao Cup following the win at Hill Dickinson Stadium. James Garner broke the deadlock for the Toffees just 34 minutes in with a swift turnaround deep inside the Magpies' territory.
Amar Dedic was caught in possession by Tyrique George on the left flank, with Hayden Hackney delivering a first-time pass into the box for Garner, who bent his effort beyond Lukas Hornicek. Hackney doubled the hosts' lead on the stroke of half-time, with Barry picking out the midfielder centrally in the area - minimal effort required as he fired home from close quarters to stretch his side's lead.
Barry, meanwhile, put the result beyond doubt with roughly 20 minutes remaining, as Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall surged forward on the counter before laying it off to the Frenchman at the far post. While Dan Burn managed to restore some pride with a towering header in the dying moments, his strike proved little more than a consolation, as Newcastle crashed out of the competition.
Everton will now face Fleetwood Town in the quarter-finals of the Carabao Cup on home soil on December 15. Meanwhile, Crystal Palace welcome Sunderland AFC, Liverpool take on Bournemouth at Anfield and Manchester City meet Bradford at the Etihad Stadium.
