Lammens, Maguire And Martinez To Start | 4-2-3-1 Manchester United Predicted Lineup Vs Fulham

Manchester United will face off against Fulham at Craven Cottage this Sunday as they look to secure maximum points on the road in the Premier League. The Red Devils suffered a poor 3-2 loss at the hands of Brighton and Hove Albion in the EFL Cup recently, so they would be eager to bounce back with a positive result this weekend.

Michael Carrick will set his players up in a 4-2-3-1 formation and is expected to make a handful of changes to his first team for this game. Senne Lammens, Harry Maguire and Lisandro Martinez could all play from the start of this clash.

Defence

Senne Lammens will operate in between the sticks for the Red Devils after being rested in midweek. Harry Maguire will resume his partnership with Lisandro Martinez at the centre of the Man United backline as they look to keep things solid at the back throughout the game.

Diogo Dalot will fill in as the right-back, while Luke Shaw could get the nod to impress on the other side as the left-back if he can recover in time for this game. Both of them will have to pick and choose their moments to join in on the attack.

Ayden Heaven and Leny Yoro will offer cover for the defensive positions on the bench.

Midfield

Kobbie Mainoo and Youri Tielemans will operate as the holding midfielders for the Red Devils. Their main job would be to retain possession well at the centre of the park and engineer some decent chances in the final third.

The gifted trio of Marcus Rashford, Bruno Fernandes and Bryan Mbeumo will play just ahead of them as part of Carrick’s attack. All three of them need to link up with each other well if Man United are to secure a win at Craven Cottage this weekend.

Andrey Santos, Shea Lacey and Mason Mount will make up the numbers on the bench and might come on to make an impact in the second half if required.

Matheus Cunha will spearhead Carrick’s attack up top. He has to find a way to be a real menace in the final third.
