Manchester United close in on goalkeeper signing – latest transfer reports

Manchester United are closing in on the signing of goalkeeper Senne Lammens from Royal Antwerp, according to Sky Sports .

The Belgian shot-stopper is not in the squad for Antwerp’s game against Mechelen this weekend. A £17.3m transfer is close to being finalised, and the two clubs are now discussing the structure of the transfer.

United were in need of a new keeper after Andre Onana fell out of favour, and was replaced by Altay Bayindir for the Red Devils’ opening Premier League game against Arsenal.

The Turkish 27-year-old made the mistake which led to Arsenal’s winner, however, and is also under scrutiny.

BBC Sport report that two of Chelsea’s players – Carney Chukwuemeka and Angelino Anselmino – have been given permission to fly to Germany ahead of moves to Borussia Dortmund.

Anselmino will be a loan deal whilst Chukwuemeka will be a permanent transfer for around £24 million.

Chelsea still want to offload a lot of players before the window closes on September 1, and will no doubt be very busy for the next week.

Gianluigi Donnarumma has agreed personal terms with Manchester City , says Fabrizio Romano . The Italian is keen on the move, which still hinges on Ederson leaving this summer.

The fee will be under €50 million.

Donnarumma’s relationship with PSG broke down earlier this summer and a heap of clubs were interested in his signature, including Manchester United , but Pep Guardiola has convinced him to go to the blue side of Manchester.

Arsenal have reached an agreement with Shamrock Rovers for the signing of 16-year-old Victor Ozhianvuna, according to The Athletic .

Ozhianvuna is an explosive attacking midfielder who can play out wide too. He’s still developing physically, being such a young age, but Arsenal have tracked him for a long time and went early to secure the deal.
