Three Chelsea fixtures confirmed as Premier League release latest changes

Chelsea have had two Premier League fixtures rescheduled in November, with clashes away at Sunderland and Nottingham Forest being selected for television coverage.

The Blues are due to play three league matches in the penultimate month of 2026 with trips to Sunderland and Forest, as well as a home clash with Leeds United sandwiched in between.

Chelsea will take on Sunderland at the Stadium of Light on Sunday, November 8, due to the Black Cats' Europa League involvement, while the trip to Nottingham has been brought forward to the Friday, 8pm slot, on November 27.

Sunderland vs Chelsea - Sunday, November 8 (2pm)

Chelsea vs Leeds United - Saturday, November 21 (3pm)

Nottingham Forest vs Chelsea - Friday, November 27 (8pm)

Tough month for Chelsea

While there are only three matches for Chelsea to contend with in November, it is still a difficult month, on paper, for Xabi Alonso and his players.

The Blues were beaten 2-1 on the final day of the season at the Stadium of Light last time around in a result that meant the west Londoners missed out on any form of European football this term. However, the good news for Chelsea is that Sunderland will be in Europa League action at home to Dinamo Zagreb less than 72 hours before the Premier League clash.

Then Leeds come to Stamford Bridge. Chelsea know the sort of threat the Whites pose after the two sides played out a 6-3 thriller in the Carabao Cup earlier in the month.

A trip to Nottingham on a Friday night will conclude November for the Blues. The City Ground always seems a tough fixture on paper but Chelsea will be given confidence by winning their last three away matches against Forest.
