Video: McTominay scores another bicycle kick stunner

Footage of another Scott McTominay bicycle kick is quickly going viral across social media after the Scotland international scored an acrobatic stunner once again while in training with Napoli.

Napoli have shared footage of a particularly special training ground goal scored by McTominay, who pulled out an impressive bicycle kick after a cross off the right flank from David Neres in an open pre-season training session in front of the fans.

The goal has drawn comparisons to the iconic bicycle kick that McTominay scored in a crucial World Cup qualifier between Scotland and Denmark back in 2025. That strike was so special that it ended up being printed on Scottish bank notes and was also painted onto a mural in Glasgow. The 29-year-old is surely the only individual to have that same honour in both Glasgow and Napoli.

The former Manchester United midfielder has an eye for the acrobatic, and has a tendency to pull those goals out at the most crucial of moments.

He also pulled out an acrobatic effort to send Napoli within touching distance of the Serie A title in the final game of the 2024-25 season while locked into a fierce two-horse race with Inter for the Scudetto.
