LAS VEGAS
– The LA Clippers defeated the Minnesota Timberwolves in overtime,
128-120
, in the 2026 NBA Summer League on Friday.
The Clippers led by 27 points late in the third quarter, but Minnesota made things tight late.
The Timberwolves sent the game into overtime behind a 40-23 fourth quarter run, and the Clippers rallied back with 13 points in the two-minute overtime period.
The Clippers’ 128 points set a Summer League record.
There were eight ties and 13 lead changes in this game. Los Angeles shot 55 percent from the field and out-rebounded the Timberwolves while outscoring them in the paint 56 to 36.
The Timberwolves (2-3) were led by
Zyon Pullin
, who provided 18 points, three rebounds and eight assists.
Rocco Zikarsky tallied 16 points, seven rebounds, five assists and two blocks. Isaiah Evans totaled 14 points, two rebounds and three assists, while Jaylin Williams led the bench with 21 points.
The Clippers (3-2) were led by
Sean Padulla
, who scored nine points in OT en route to 24 points, five rebounds, 11 assists and six steals.
Keaton Wagler
, the No. 5 overall pick in 2026, added 26 points, four rebounds and two assists. Nick Martinelli had 18 points, six rebounds and two assists, while Baba Miller chipped in 15 points, four rebounds and six assists.
