😤 Old Trafford sends clear message to United owners with fan protests

Man United fans have continued to protest against their club owners during Sunday's match against Aston Villa.

United supporters staged a protest at the Roma game at Old Trafford last week, distributing 4,000 green and yellow balloons and throwing tennis balls onto the pitch.

The balloons made another appearance in the Stretford End before and during the Villa match, while several anti-Glazer banners were unfurled around the ground.

The Red Devils came into Sunday's clash in 18th position and went 2-0 behind after just four minutes, before pulling level at 2-2.

Notably, United fans have backed Michael Carrick in recent weeks and, instead, targeted their frustrations towards the club's board and owners.
