11 players to miss Liverpool vs Tottenham as Roberto De Zerbi faces injury issues
Liverpool and Tottenham will be without a combined 11 players when they meet in the Carabao Cup third round at Anfield, with both clubs hit by significant injury problems ahead of their midweek clash.

Liverpool and Tottenham are both anticipated to be missing a combined 11 players when they meet in the third round of the Carabao Cup on Tuesday evening.
Roberto De Zerbi's side make the trip to Anfield looking to record their first win since beating Charlton Athletic in the second round of this competition. Spurs have failed to win any of their opening four Premier League matches, drawing two and losing two, and have failed to score a single goal in the process.
The Reds, meanwhile, have started the season with mixed fortunes, winning just one of their four Premier League fixtures. However, Andoni Iraola's men are yet to lose across all competitions, having drawn the other three top-flight matches and beat Atletico Madrid 2-1 in their Champions League opener last Wednesday.
Attention for both is now turning to the Carabao Cup, though Spurs are battling a significant injury crisis heading into the fixture. Long-term casualties Dejan Kulusevski, Xavi Simons and Wilson Odobert remain some distance from full fitness and will not be involved against the Reds.
Earlier this month, when quizzed about Kulusevski, De Zerbi said: "Kulusevski is not working with us in the last week. It's not a big problem, it's a normal problem when one player is out for a long time."
He further revealed that £100m midfielder Sandro Tonali is among the others unavailable to feature against Liverpool. Mykhalyo Mudryk is also out, having injured his ankle in training.

Meanwhile, De Zerbi has additionally made his position clear regarding Richarlison, who will not feature following his failed transfer attempts, bluntly stating: "Richarlison, you already know everything."
Pedro Porro will similarly fail to recover in time to face Liverpool, though left-back Destiny Udogie, who missed the Everton fixture, is expected to return to the squad. De Zerbi stated: "Kulusevski not available, Pedro still not available, Udogie yes. No Sandro Tonali, he felt a knock. Richarlison, you already know everything, so nothing changes with the Carabao Cup or Premier League."
Liverpool are also hampered by a number of absentees. Iraola is certain to be deprived of Conor Bradley, Giovanni Leoni and Hugo Ekitike, all of whom remain on the sidelines with long-term injury concerns.
Leoni has been recuperating from an ACL injury sustained last September, though he could be back in training following the international break next month. Bradley and Ekitike, meanwhile, remain some months away from rejoining the first-team fold at Anfield.
The Reds will additionally be without Federico Chiesa, who is yet to feature this campaign after sustaining a knock during pre-season preparations.
Liverpool will have Joe Gomez at their disposal, as Iraola confirmed: "Joe is training with the team and is available for tomorrow. It's a matter of deciding how much he can play."
Regarding Leoni, Iraola stated earlier this month: "I think the next one probably should be Giovanni Leoni. I think the plan is also to start training during the break, with the group. I think even Fede should be around those dates and probably Conor, and especially Hugo, will go later, yes."
