LAS VEGAS

– Meleek Thomas scored a game-high 24 points and the Cleveland Cavaliers defeated the Chicago Bulls,

100-91

, in Summer League play on Friday.

The Bulls jumped to a 21-15 lead after the first quarter, but their dominance was short-lived.

The Cavaliers responded with a 30-16 score in the second quarter, and they’d never let go of their lead after that.

Thomas, a second-round pick

(34th overall) out of Arkansas in the 2026 NBA Draft, led the way for the Cavaliers with 24 points (10-20 FG, 3-8 3Pt, 1-1 FT).

Malaki Branham chipped in with 13 points and five assists, while Riley Minix delivered 12 points on 5-for-9 shooting.

Five Cleveland players scored in double digits in this win, and the team shot 48.8 percent from the floor and 37.1 percent from three-point range.

Donovan Atwell

led the way for the Bulls with 22 points and two rebounds.

Only two other Bulls players posted double-digit scoring numbers: Kennedy Chandler (12 points, three rebounds and four assists) and Jaylin Sellers (17 points).
