– The Memphis Grizzlies defeated the Atlanta Hawks,

96-64

, in the

2026 NBA Summer League

at Thomas & Mack Center on Thursday.

Memphis set a record in this dominant performance, holding Atlanta to just two points in a 32-2 opening quarter. The Grizzlies shot 13-for-17 from the field in that opening frame while the Hawks shot 1-for-13. They got their lead up to 36 points at times and led by at least 23 points for the final 33 minutes of this 40-minute game. Memphis outrebounded Atlanta, 45-34, while outassisting them, 20-15. They also shot 50.0% from the field while holding the Hawks to 40.0% and just 19.4% (6-for-31) from 3.

Cameron Boozer collected 24 points and seven rebounds. Cedric Coward compiled 23 points, Olivier-Maxence Prosper provided 18 points while Javon Small tallied nine points, five rebounds and seven assists.

The Hawks had only one starter who scored more than five points, with Isaiah Wong totaling 20 points and five rebounds. Zeke Mayo led the bench with 10 points.

This lopsided victory guarantees Memphis a spot in the Summer League Playoffs. Atlanta just missed the cut.
