Arsenal latest: Viktor Gyokeres ripped apart as team-mate lifts lid on squad's title ambition
Arsenal head into the weekend with two wins out of two after coming back from the international break

Arsenal face Nottingham Forest next and are aiming for another three points in their quest to retain the Premier League title.
The Gunners kept their rhythm going with a 3-0 win over Lille in the Champions League. This made it two wins out of two since club football returned after the international break.
The home win marked 14 consecutive victories in the league phase of the Champions League and Mikel Arteta revealed his pride at his side's resilience to get the win. He said: "It shows the level of consistency that we have. We carry on playing the way we do, performing that way in the competition. I'm sure we can do that more, but we have to earn it because it's big."
The Arsenal boss is also relishing the challenge of Forest away on Sunday as he added: "I think the beautiful challenge will be Nottingham Forest away, and we’ve experienced that over the last few years - we’ll make sure we’re ready for that one first."

Merino reveals title ambitions
Mikel Merino has daringly declared that Arsenal are capable of securing the quadruple this season, despite already faltering domestically. The Gunners have triumphed in nearly all their fixtures, suffering just a solitary defeat to Brighton in the Premier League.
The quadruple remains an extraordinary achievement, as no other English club has accomplished it in history. Yet the Spain international remains unwavering in his conviction that it could materialise.

Reflecting on Arsenal's Champions League winning run, Merino told Sky Sports: "It's an unbelievable run. We know we're making history in the competition. At the same time we know how difficult it is to win games. We keep a lot of value and credit in the team for what we're doing.
"The goal is to win the Champions League, the Premier League, to win everything. That's what the manager wants. That's what the fans want. That's what we as players want as well."
When quizzed on whether he felt the Gunners could become the first side to clinch the quadruple, Merino responded emphatically: "Absolutely. This is the mentality. This is the aim. We were so, so close last season and that proved to us we are ready for it. Now it's about details, being present and ready in the right moments. And we believe that."
Viktor Gyokeres verdict

Viktor Gyokeres came under fire from the French press following an underwhelming display against Lille on Tuesday. The Swedish forward had impressed during the international break, netting in all four of his country's Nations League fixtures.
Yet he cut a frustrated figure for Arsenal in the Champions League, being withdrawn in the 65th minute, having been preferred to Kai Havertz in the starting XI. L'Equipe awarded him a damning 2/10 rating, noting he "only touched the ball 12 times" and failed to register a single shot on target.
Foot Mercato awarded him a marginally improved rating of 4/10 but suggested the forward "struggled to make an impact."
They noted he came off second best in physical battles with the opposition's backline and appeared "far from convincing" in possession.
Arsenal's second goal arrived just moments after Gyokeres departed the pitch, while Havertz provided the assist for the third and decisive strike in the 71st minute.
