Mikel Arteta could make several changes to the Arsenal starting lineup this weekend. After a disappointing defeat to Brighton just before the international break, the Gunners will want to return to winning ways when they face Leeds United at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

Arsenal haven't lost to the West Yorkshire outfit since May 2003, when Mark Viduka scored a late winner at Highbury. Since then, the Gunners have beaten Leeds United in 14 of the previous 16 meetings, winning each of the last eight matches.

Although Arsenal may be the reigning Premier League champions, Daniel Farke's side will certainly fancy their chances. Leeds United have enjoyed a promising start to the campaign; they sit fifth in the table and remain one of just five teams yet to lose a game.

Speaking to reporters at the Sobha Realty Training Centre on Friday afternoon, Arteta previewed the clash. The Gunners boss said: "The message is very clear: we have pain in the tummy for what happened in Brighton. It's our responsibility, and we need to give to them."

Mikel Arteta has some big decisions to make when the Premier League returns this weekend. Arsenal face unbeaten Leeds, who have been in great form since the back end of last season and it won't be easy for the Gunners.

David Raya obviously starts in goal, then I would bring Ben White back in at right-back as he's recovered from his groin issue and Jurrien Timber's fitness needs to be managed.

Additionally, I think Ezri Konsa needs to rest after experiencing discomfort while away with England - Cristhian Mosquera is fit again and is capable of partnering Gabriel Magalhaes. Riccardo Calafiori completes the back-four.

In midfield, I'd play Myles Lewis-Skelly as he did well for England and Bruno Guimaraes struggled alongside Declan Rice at Brighton. He's travelled far and wide during the international break also. Rice starts following his break, too.

In attack, Bukayo Saka features from the right, Martin Odegaard as the creative hub and Eberechi Eze needs to grab the bull by the horns on the left flank. Viktor Gyokeres is worthy of a chance in attack after scoring in each of Sweden's four Nations League games.

Ryan's starting lineup: Raya; White, Mosquera, Gabriel, Calafiori; Rice, Lewis-Skelly; Saka, Odegaard, Eze; Gyokeres.

The international break wasn't kind to Arsenal, with a few big names suffering various knocks and injuries. So, I think Mikel Arteta could make as many as four changes to the starting lineup this weekend.

David Raya, of course, should remain between the sticks. With William Saliba still nursing a back problem and Ezri Konsa a doubt, Cristhian Mosquera, who's only returned to training fairly recently, will likely partner Gabriel Magalhaes at centre-half.

Although there are question marks over Declan Rice's availability, after he pulled out of the England squad due to load management, I think he'll feature in the middle of the park. Myles Lewis-Skelly should join his fellow countryman in the middle of the park, replacing Bruno Guimaraes.

On the left, I think Noni Madueke will get the nod. Eberechi Eze could also do a job on the left, but I wouldn't be surprised if Arteta opts for the former Chelsea winger, who would be more of an outlet against a high-pressing Daniel Farke side.

Then, up top, Viktor Gyokeres. In the pre-match press conference on Friday afternoon, the Arsenal boss suggested that Kai Havertz, who sustained a hamstring injury while away with Germany, faces a late fitness test, so I wouldn't be surprised if there's a change of guard.

Jake's starting lineup: David Raya; Riccardo Calafiori, Gabriel Magalhaes, Cristhian Mosquera, Jurrien Timber; Declan Rice, Myles Lewis-Skelly; Noni Madueke, Martin Odegaard, Bukayo Saka; Viktor Gyokeres.
