Chelsea and Manchester United have been informed of the price it would take to sign Myles Lewis-Skelly from Arsenal.
The England international appeared to have resurrected his Gunners career during last season’s run-in when he was parachuted back into the side and offered the chance to shine in his preferred central midfield role.
Having been forced to watch much of Arsenal’s title-winning campaign from the sidelines, a late change of heart, coupled with Martin Zubimendi’s loss of form, saw the Hale End Academy graduate back in the side for a run of crucial fixtures.
A polished display in the Champions League final rounded off an impressive series of performances and it appeared he was set for a key role in Mikel Arteta’s side, especially given he signed a new long-term contract just over a year ago.
The recent signing of Bruno Guimaraes has, however, added an extra layer of competition for places in Arsenal’s engine room and the arrival of the Brazil international has coincided with fresh speculation about Lewis-Skelly’s future.
Reports claim the versatile midfielder, who can also play at left-back, has been offered to Chelsea while United were also sounded out earlier this summer.
According to The Guardian, Arsenal would demand a modest fee in the region of £45million which would comfortably be in budget for their Premier League rivals.

United are keen to sign a left-sided defender given the doubts surrounding the durability of Luke Shaw.
Newcastle United’s Lewis Hall is a top target but the Magpies are holding out for a huge price which could prompt Michael Carrick to look elsewhere.
RB Leipzig’s 28-year-old left-back David Raum is on the club’s radar, while Racing Santander defender Jorge Salinas has been scouted but he looks set to join Atletico Madrid instead.
With Arsenal still requiring a left-sided forward, club legend Lee Dixon envisages a scenario whereby a swap deal involving Marcus Rashford could suit all parties.
