Arsenal have revealed their 25-man squad list for the 2026/27 Premier League season, just hours after completing two bits of savvy transfer business

Mikel Arteta's Arsenal squad for the 2026/27 Premier League season has been confirmed.

The Gunners have confirmed which 25 players will be a part of their first-team for the rest of the campaign, which officially got underway last month.

The newest additions to the squad come in the form of £75million man, Bruno Guimaraes - who completed a move to North London from Newcastle United earlier this summer - as well as Ezri Konsa, who arrived from Aston Villa for an initial £51m.

Joining them are the likes of left-winger, Christos Tzolis, who arrived from Club Brugge in a £34m transfer, as well as goalkeeper, Illan Meslier, who arrived as a free agent having left Leeds United.

One name not on the list, however, is Gabriel Martinelli. The 25-year-old completed a £60m move to Al-Hilal on Thursday, having fallen out of favour under Arteta.

Likewise, Andria Bartishvili, is also omitted from the squad, given he will remain with FC Kolkheti 1919 until next summer. The 17-year-old is understood to have completed a medical for the Gunners on Thursday, ahead of a £3.9m move.

However, given his age, he will not officially sign for Arsenal until next summer when he is 18. The versatile attacking-midfielder will then put pen to paper on a five-year deal.

In-line with Premier League rules, each club in the English top flight is unable to feature more than 17 players who do not have homegrown status in their 25-man squad.

A homegrown player is someone who, no matter their age or nationality, has been registered with any club under the FA or Welsh FA banner for three full seasons before their 21st birthday.

U21 players are also not included in the 25-man player lists, and as a result, are able to participate in the Premier League.

It has been a dream start to the new season for Arsenal, who have clinched two wins from their first two matches of 2026/27.

The Gunners enjoyed a 3-0 humbling of Coventry City at home in their opener, before closing out a 1-0 win over Aston Villa on home soil at the weekend.

All attention is now firmly set on the club's London derby against Chelsea at the Emirates Stadium come Sunday, September 6.
