BALLON D'OR CEREMONY LIVE: Harry Kane favourite to land iconic award after awkward website leak as England star battles Lamine Yamal and Kylian Mbappe with rankings released

The eyes of the footballing world descend on the West End tonight as the London Palladium prepares to host the 2026 Ballon d'Or ceremony.

Bayern Munich's Harry Kane, Real Madrid's Kylian Mbappe and Barcelona's Lamine Yamal are expected to battle for the Men's Ballon d'Or, after all three impressed during the 2025/26 season.

Kane spearheaded Bayern Munich's Bundesliga title and England's run to the World Cup semi-final in North America, while Mbappe made history by becoming the all-time leading goalscorer at the tournament and taking home the Golden Boot. Yamal won the World Cup with Spain and La Liga at Barcelona.

London City Lionesses' Alexia Putellas, meanwhile, is the favourite for the women's prize.
