Barcelona, Milan and Manchester United eye Finn Jeltsch

Stuttgart’s young centre-back has become one of the most closely watched defenders in the Bundesliga, although the German club has no plans to sell him in January

Finn Jeltsch has become one of the names beginning to gain traction in the European transfer market. The German defender, just 20 years old, is attracting attention with his performances and reportedly already has several of the continent’s biggest clubs interested in him.

According to Sky Sport, the Stuttgart player is on the radar of Barcelona, AC Milan and Manchester United, three teams reportedly monitoring his development closely.

Stuttgart do not want to sell Jeltsch in January

Stuttgart’s stance, at least for now, is clear: the club has no intention of letting the defender leave during the upcoming winter transfer window.

Jeltsch, for his part, is happy at the German club and reportedly has not shown any intention of forcing an immediate move either. His situation could remain unchanged if he continues to play a key role and develop in the Bundesliga.

However, the picture could change if his performances keep improving and the big clubs begin making substantial offers.

Barcelona continue to look for defensive talent

Barcelona’s interest fits with their search for young defenders with room to develop. Jeltsch is an attractive prospect because of his age and the experience he is already gaining in German football.

The Catalan club, however, are reportedly not the only giants willing to track his progress.

Milan and Manchester United are also said to be keeping an eye on his situation, which could spark a battle for the centre-back if Stuttgart eventually open the door to negotiations.

Jeltsch’s performances will shape his future

For now, there is no deal at an advanced stage or any confirmed formal offer. Stuttgart’s priority is to keep the player and prevent a January departure.

The situation could become more complicated for the German club if Jeltsch continues to perform at a high level and his market value rises over the coming months.

With Barcelona, Milan and Manchester United monitoring his development, Finn Jeltsch is already beginning to emerge as one of the Bundesliga’s most sought-after young defenders.
