Barcelona are monitoring Fulham teenager Josh King, with the 19-year-old’s emergence in London drawing attention, according to TEAMtalk.

Sport reports that Chelsea, Manchester United and Liverpool are at the front of the queue, ahead of Borussia Dortmund, Atletico Madrid, Leipzig and Inter Milan, with Barcelona currently behind. Sport also notes King joins a wider shortlist that includes Colorado Rapids’ Lucas Herrington (19), Niko Ilicevic (15) and Philadelphia Union’s Cavan Sullivan (17).

King is under contract at Fulham until 2029, leaving the club in a strong position if bids arrive. The London side are not planning to sell at present.

Their poor Premier League start could shift the landscape if relegation threatens, which might increase the chances of a move next summer. In that scenario, King could look for a more ambitious project.

Born in 2007, King joined Fulham at the age of eight and progressed through the academy. He received his first-team call-up in 2024.

Used as a playmaker by coach Alvaro Arbeloa, he has logged 427 minutes and scored twice in five matches. His early impact has impressed team-mates and strengthened his place in the Spaniard’s plans.
