This comes amid the understanding that the Frenchman has emerged as a leading transfer target on the part of those in a position of power at German champions

brass have identified Koundé as the ideal addition to Vincent Kompany’s defensive ranks with a view to next season.

The former Sevilla man is appreciated for his versatility and talents on both sides of the ball, with Koundé’s fine form at this summer’s World Cup having evidently not gone unnoticed.

As alluded to above, though, those of a

persuasion need not get their hopes up when it comes to the 27-year-old’s potential arrival in Bavaria.
