Bielik appears to grab young Portsmouth fan by the throat during Cardiff City chaos

Cardiff defender Krystian Bielik allegedly grabbed a young Portsmouth fan by the throat during an angry clash in Saturday's Championship game between the two sides.
The altercation happened midway through the second half of the match, which Portsmouth won 2-0. Bielik had headed over to the touchline to try and retrieve the ball for a throw-in, only to become embroiled in a heated clash with a young home fan.
Replays of the incident, which quickly went viral on social media, allegedly show the 28-year-old grab the supporter around the throat. The Pompey fan retaliated by directing what appeared to be a slap at Bielik. The game was briefly paused while the referee attempted to restore order.
The supporter was later ejected from the stadium following the incident. Bielik, who was booked earlier in the game, escaped further punishment, though it is likely The FA will investigate the incident, with Bielik potential facing a lengthy ban and a significant fine.
On the pitch, goals from Conor Shaughnessy and Marezi Marezi did the damage for Pompey, who move into midtable.
Defeat at Fratton Park means Cardiff are without a win this season; they have drawn three of their five league games since winning promotion and drop into the bottom three.
Cardiff boss Brian Barry-Murphy said of the incident post-match: "I wanted to make sure he (Bielik) was protected and make sure he was okay, which he is.
"I thought the referee and his staff handled the incident impeccably. I was assured by him the correct processes will take place.
"He said he’d seen everything which occurred really clearly, so he diffused the situation and implemented the correct processes from there.
"The players are always subjected to different things that’s not acceptable. My job is to protect the players, but really I’m trying to make sure that we play well and win.
"I’m sure the FA will look at it and implement the correct processes."
