Chelsea break record with €448m player sales in single window

Chelsea have set an all-time record for a single window, raising 448 million euros from player sales this summer, Transfermarkt reports.

The headline departure was World Cup winner Enzo Fernandez, who completed a joint Premier League-record 145 million euro move to Manchester City on deadline day.

Further sizeable fees arrived for Andrey Santos at 56.3 million euros, Nicolas Jackson at 55.5 million euros and Marc Cucurella at 55 million euros.

Chelsea also sold Liam Delap for 52 million euros, Trevoh Chalobah for 30 million euros, Tyrique George for 21 million euros, Marc Guiu for 15 million euros and Tosin for 11.7 million euros.

The record haul leaves Chelsea atop football’s single-window sales charts, eclipsing their own totals and those of rivals. Aston Villa posted 360 million euros and Manchester City 337 million euros in the same window.
