Chelsea eyeing shock transfer move for ex-Arsenal and Man Utd forward

Chelsea are reportedly eyeing a sensational transfer move for Brighton forward Danny Welbeck.
Welbeck has entered into the final 12 months of his current deal at the Amex Stadium and Chelsea have been alerted to a potential deal as they scour the market for attacking reinforcements.
According to The Athletic’s David Ornstein , the Seagulls are ‘aware’ of Chelsea’s interest in the 35-year-old, though there are yet to be any negotiations between the two Premier League clubs.
It’s claimed the Blues are ‘optimistic’ that a deal can be struck for the former Manchester United and Arsenal striker, who has been capped 42 times by the England national team.
