Chelsea handed injury boost as Xabi Alonso gives update on three players for Brighton clash
Chelsea return to Premier League action on Sunday as they play host to Brighton & Hove Albion at Stamford Bridge, with Xabi Alonso discussing player injuries in the build-up

Xabi Alonso has confirmed that Levi Colwill and Geovany Quenda should be available for selection against Brighton and Hove Albion this weekend.
Moises Caicedo, meanwhile, is set to return to training on Friday, and will be monitored closely before a final decision is made on his participation in Sunday's clash at Stamford Bridge.
The Blues will look to build momentum in a push for their first Premier League title in nine years, having kickstarted their campaign with a 3-2 win over Fulham on Monday.
And speaking in the aftermath of a 2-0 League Cup win over Luton Town on Thursday, Alonso confirmed that a number of first-team players should be fit for this weekend's clash in the English top flight.
Asked about the fitness of Colwill and Quenda, the Spaniard said: "No issues.
"Our plan is that they are training tomorrow preparing for Sunday.
"With Levi, we know three games in a week after the injury, missing a period, he needs to take the right steps, we don’t want to push him too much. So he feels comfortable."

It comes after Colwill missed the entirety of last season due to an ACL injury, with Alonso seemingly managing the centre-half's workload as he reacclimates to the game.
Quenda has also been recovering from a minor injury of his own, which has kept him sidelined up until now.
When asked about Caicedo, meanwhile, who has been sidelined after picking up a minor injury in training, Alonso added: "He is hopefully training tomorrow, we are hopeful he can be involved.
"We are still checking, no decision made."
Chelsea take on Brighton and Hove Albion at 2pm on Sunday, August 30.
