Chelsea are reportedly open to selling 11 players this transfer window. The Blues are also still adding to their squad and most recently completed a move for Jordan Henderson , who became the club's eighth summer signing.
It has already been a hectic few months for new manager Xabi Alonso. Chelsea sealed a marquee £117million transfer for Morgan Rogers and soon added Crystal Palace centre-back Maxence Lacroix. In the first few days of August, the signing of Danny Welbeck marked a departure from the club's usual youth-focused transfer policy , subsequently emphasised by Henderson's arrival.
Versatile Argentina international Valentin Barco also adds further squad depth following his switch from Strasbourg. Geovany Quenda, Marco Palestra and Emmanuel Emegha complete their list of new additions.
Chelsea's recruitment drive may help new boss Alonso to lift the team after a disappointing 10th-placed finish last season, but it also leaves them with a bloated squad. The Athletic reports that up to 11 Chelsea players could finalise permanent moves before deadline day, with the total money recouped potentially nearing £500m.

The Blues need to offload centre-backs after signing Lacroix, with Alonso admitting he would ideally like only "four or five" options in his squad. Trevoh Chalobah is closing in on a £31m move to Como, but is not the only defender who could leave Stamford Bridge.

Axel Disasi, who spent the second half of last season on loan at West Ham United, can supposedly leave for £25m, whilst Benoit Badiashile is valued at £30m. Furthermore, full-back Malo Gusto is not considered indispensable and is priced at £75m.
In midfield, Enzo Fernandez has consistently been linked with a move away from the club . However, Chelsea would demand £120m for their star man, who joined from Benfica for £106m in January 2023.
Similar to Fernandez and Gusto, the Blues appreciate Pedro Neto's contributions , but the winger is reportedly not untouchable. The Portugal international has previously been linked with a £70m move away from the Blues. In attack, Welbeck's move to Chelsea should push the club to sell several strikers.
Liam Delap is considered one of the likeliest players to leave after his frustrating debut season but the club would still look to make a profit on the £30m they paid Ipswich Town last summer.

Meanwhile, Emegha, who is valued at £20m by Transfermarkt , is claimed to already have an uncertain role at the club following his move from Strasbourg. Similarly, Chelsea will seek a permanent exit for David Datro Fofana, who is priced at £3m. This brings the total potential fees for the 11 Chelsea players to £494m, with some players possibly leaving for more.
