Eintracht Frankfurt’s Hugo Larsson ‘in talks’ over €25m Premier League move

Hugo Larsson could leave Eintracht Frankfurt before the deadline, with Sky Germany reporting he is in London for negotiations with two Premier League clubs, including Crystal Palace. The identity of the second club is not yet clear.

Frankfurt have permitted the Sweden international to hold talks and are seeking around €25m. Larsson’s contract runs until 2029.

After emerging as one of the Bundesliga’s standout young midfielders across his first two seasons, Larsson signed an extension in October 2024. His progress slowed last term amid availability issues and the team’s wider struggles.

Returning head coach Adi Hütter has since reworked the midfield. Raphael Onyedika has arrived as a natural holding option, while Noël Aséko offers a more attacking profile.

Larsson remained prominent in pre-season and scored the opener in a 3-0 friendly win over Trabzonspor as Hütter’s 4-2-2-2 began to take shape. That added depth leaves Frankfurt better placed to approve a late sale.

The €25m valuation provides a basis for a rapid agreement if talks progress in the final days of the window.
