Enzo Le Fée signs five-year Sunderland deal as Florent Ghisolfi oversees project

Enzo Le Fée has signed a new and improved five-year contract with Sunderland. The club said in a statement that the agreement reflects continuity and trust, praising his quality, intelligence, personality and humility.
It continues a drive to secure core players on fresh terms, after Robin Roefs agreed an extension earlier this summer.
Director of football Florent Ghisolfi previously recruited Le Fée for AS Roma and now leads Sunderland’s project after arriving on Wearside last summer.
Le Fée initially dropped to the Championship to join on loan in January 2025, helped Sunderland return to the Premier League, and has since featured in Europe with the club.
He underlined that impact last week by scoring the winner against AZ Alkmaar in Sunderland’s first game back in European competition.
