Manchester City have been handed injury concerns with Erling Haaland and Antoine Semenyo after their 3-2 win against Ipswich Town on Saturday.
Phil Foden opened the scoring for City before Daizen Maeda equalised for Ipswich. Enzo Maresca’s side were ahead by half time through Haaland before the Norway international struck his second of the game in the 69th minute.
Zian Flemming pulled a goal back for Ipswich from the penalty spot but City held on to extend their perfect record in the Premier League to seven wins this season.
However, City will have cause for concern as both Haaland and Semenyo were seen limping in the closing stages of the game.
Haaland suffered his injury as he caught the studs of Jack Clarke’s boot when attempting a strike on goal.
City were also forced to substitute Matheus Nunes, Mateo Kovacic and Nico O’Reilly in the second half due to injury concerns.

Semenyo, meanwhile, was replaced in the 77th minute due to a suspected knee problem.
‘We’ll see, unfortunately in 10 minutes we had four or five players [injured], Matheus, Kova, Erling, Antoine and Nico also,’ Maresca said after City’s win.
‘They are inside now, we’ll see, I don’t know, I don’t have news at the moment.’
When asked about the extent of the injuries, Maresca replied: ‘No, I asked all of them, Mateo and Kova said they were okay, Matheus said he is okay, Erling also said that he was okay.
