Europa League draw LIVE: Celtic, Sunderland, Bournemouth and Palace learn opponents

The Europa League draw takes centre stage 24 hours after the Champions League draw was completed with the Premier League boasting three sides.

Last season's winner came from England's top flight as Aston Villa saw off Freiburg and the Europa Conference League winners from 12 months ago, Crystal Palace, are in the draw by virtue of that success.

Bournemouth, now under new leadership are in Europe for the first time in their history whilst Sunderland, off the back of an incredible first year back in the Premier League, get to enjoy a crack at European football.

English sides have triumphed in each of the last two years with Tottenham lifting the trophy the year prior to Villa. The biggest prize remains a spot in the following season's Champions League.

Last year's Aston Villa's triumphant moment came at Besiktas Stadium in Istanbul - this year the final will be held at Frankfurt's Waldstadion, also known as Deutsche Bank Park.

Each team will face two teams from each of the four pots and cannot face a team from the same country.

The teams who finish in the top eight will qualify for the Europa League's round of 16. Those from ninth to 24th will enter the play-off knockout round.

Pot 3: Sturm Graz, Lech Poznan, Crystal Palace, Bournemouth, Sunderland, Celje, Jagiellonia Bialystok, Omonia, Celta Vigo

The Premier League is eyeing up a hat-trick of triumphs in Europe's secondary competition.

Bouremouth and Sunderland, who finished sixth and seven in last year's Premier League, are in the mix.

Crystal Palace, the winners of last year's Europa Conference League, are also in.
