Fernandez To Start, O’Reilly On The Bench | 4-2-3-1 Manchester City Predicted Lineup Vs Coventry City

Manchester City will entertain Coventry City at the Etihad Stadium this Saturday as they look to secure all three points at home in the Premier League. The Mancunian club managed to earn a dominant 4-1 win away at Crystal Palace recently, which should give them a lot of confidence going into this game.

Enzo Maresca will set his men up in a 4-2-3-1 formation once again and is expected to make one change to his first team for this game. Enzo Fernandez could play from the start of this contest, while Nico O’Reilly makes way for him and drops to the bench.

Defence

Gianluigi Donnarumma will operate in between the sticks for Man City after conceding one goal in his last appearance. Ruben Dias will function alongside Marc Guehi at the centre of Maresca’s defence as they look to keep the opposition at bay during the game.

Abdukodir Khusanov will try to impress as the right-back, while Josko Gvardiol hopes to give a good account of himself on the other side as the left flank. Both of them will be eager to go forward and join in on the attack at every chance they can get.

Rayan Ait-Nouri and Nico O’Reilly will offer cover for the defensive positions on the bench.

Midfield

Enzo Fernandez and Elliot Anderson will operate as the holding midfielders for Man City. Their main focus would be to dictate the tempo of the game from midfield and engineer some clear-cut chances in the final third.

The talented trio of Phil Foden, Rayan Cherki and Antoine Semenyo will play just ahead of them as part of Maresca’s attack. All three of them need to move the ball well if Man City are to secure a convincing win at the Etihad this weekend.

Ayyoub Bouaddi and Mateo Kovacic will be available for selection on the bench as they wait for their chance to shine in the second 45 minutes if needed.

Attack

Erling Haaland will spearhead Man City’s attack up top. He has to figure out a way to be a constant menace in the final third.

Iliman Ndiaye will be named on the bench and might come on to influence the game in the latter stages if required.
