The 2027 FIBA World Cup takes place Aug. 27-Sept. 12 in four Qatar cities – Doha, Al Rayyan, Lusail and Al Wakrah – and 32 teams will qualify: seven teams from FIBA Americas, seven teams from FIBA Asia/Oceana, five teams from FIBA Africa and 12 teams from FIBA Europe. Qatar automatically qualifies as the host nation.
