Goretzka completes medical ahead of Aston Villa switch

Aston Villa are preparing to announce the signing of German international Leon Goretzka.
As reported by Sky Germany, the 31-year-old midfielder passed his medical with the Premier League club today, Tuesday.
Goretzka left Bayern Munich after his contract expired at the end of last season.
Since then, he has been linked with a number of clubs, but Villa now appear to have won the race for his signature.
The former Schalke 04 player has spent his entire career in Germany so far, making 327 Bundesliga appearances with 54 goals and 52 assists to his name.
He has featured 73 times for the German national team, finding the net 15 times and providing 12 assists.
