Harry Wilson becomes Leeds United’s 900th senior player

Harry Wilson made history at the City Ground by becoming the 900th player to represent Leeds United in a senior competitive fixture.
The Wales international was named in Daniel Farke’s starting line-up for the opening Premier League game of the 2026/27 campaign, helping the Whites secure a dramatic 1-0 victory over Nottingham Forest.
Wilson joined Leeds on a free transfer during the summer after leaving Fulham and made his competitive debut alongside fellow new arrivals James Trafford (898) and Tarik Muharemović (899).
The landmark appearance came as Leeds began the new season with all three points, secured by Anton Stach’s superb late free-kick.
Wilson is the latest player to claim a landmark place in the club’s history, following Pierre-Michel Lasogga, who became the 800th player to represent Leeds in 2017.
Before him, Alex McCarthy reached the 700 mark, Seb Carole was the 600th and former England international Mark Hateley became number 500.
The earlier milestones belonged to Ian Baird at 400, Jim Storrie at 300, Jimmy Rudd at 200 and James Wilson, who became the club’s 100th senior player.
The latest Wilson to wear the white shirt has now completed the journey to 900, marking the occasion with a winning debut on the banks of the River Trent.
