Fabian Hurzeler revealed that Brighton have no new injury concerns, Georginio Rutter could be available, and Femi Azeez is being assessed ahead of the EFL Cup third-round tie against Manchester United.

Rutter has missed Brighton’s last three matches in the Premier League with a foot injury, but Hurezeler revealed that he is “close” to making a return.

Azeez is yet to play for Brighton since arriving from Millwall this summer because of a muscle injury. Hurzeler said he is being “assessed day by day.”

Stefanos Tzimas is another one who is yet to play this season for Brighton because of a muscle injury he suffered last campaign.

“He [Tzimas] had a small setback in his rehab,” Hurzeler said. “It’s nothing big, but it will take a little bit longer than we expected it to take. He’s now in a good mood; he tries to work hard on the pitch and hopefully we will see him soon.

“I can’t give a clear schedule of when he will be back, but it’s going in the right direction.
