Inter in talks to sign Djed Spence

Serie A side Internazionale are in talks to sign England international Djed Spence according to reports.

Despite being a regular for his country at the 2026 World Cup and featuring 44 times for Tottenham Hotspur in all competitions last season, the 26-year-old is not expected to have a guaranteed spot next season and is keen on a return to Italy according to Jay Harris and Jack Pitt-Brooke of The Athletic.

The flying full-back has already had one stint in Italy when he joined Genoa on loan from Tottenham for the second half of the 2023/24 season.

Inter are said to be looking to sign Spence on a permanent basis with a fee reportedly around €30 million (£25.6 million).

In total, Spence has played 85 times for Spurs since his arrival from Middlesbrough in the summer of 2022, scoring twice and making three assists.
