James Morrison says Toby Collyer deal close, excited by Kareem Tunde and offers Aune Heggebo update

West Brom are set to confirm the signing of Manchester United midfielder Toby Collyer, their ninth arrival before Tuesday night’s deadline.

According to ExpressAndStar.com, head coach James Morrison said the initially £3million deal is close after Albion pushed hard and beat Middlesbrough and Premier League new boys Hull to his signature.

Collyer watched from the Riverside as Middlesbrough won 3-1, Albion’s first Championship defeat of the season. He was seen in club colours with team-mates as final formalities were completed.

Summer signing number eight, winger Kareem Tunde, 21, joined from Levante for around £2.5million and made a late debut. He was bright in a 15-minute cameo and tested goalkeeper Radek Vitek, replacing youngster Harry Whitwell.
