Jude Bellingham reveals Real Madrid dressing room secrets during Spanish Grand Prix visit

Jude Bellingham swapped the Santiago BernabEu for the Formula 1 paddock on Sunday, but the Real Madrid midfielder still found a way to bring his dressing-room humour with him.

With Real Madrid benefiting from a favourable fixture schedule, Bellingham was among several first-team players who attended the Spanish Grand Prix in the capital.

The England international was joined by his younger brother Jobe, who plays for Borussia Dortmund, and was a guest of Mercedes.

The visit also gave Bellingham the chance to work alongside DAZN (h/t Mundo Deportivo) on a light-hearted challenge, where he was asked to identify some of the most distinctive personalities inside the Real Madrid squad.

Bellingham had no hesitation when asked who provides the most entertainment at Real Madrid, selecting Vinicius Jr. as the funniest player in the dressing room.

The midfielder gave a very different description to Thibaut Courtois and Antonio Rudiger, identifying the pair as the smartest members of the squad.

Courtois received another notable compliment, with Bellingham describing the Belgian goalkeeper as a “father figure” within the team.

Dean Huijsen was also singled out. Bellingham considers the young defender the player with the greatest hunger for success, a revealing assessment of the mentality he has brought into the Madrid environment.

When it came to himself, Bellingham opted for “sentimental” and “intense” — two characteristics that have become increasingly visible during his time in Spain.

Real Madrid stars embrace F1 spotlight

Bellingham was far from the only Madrid player enjoying the Formula 1 weekend.

Courtois, Trent Alexander-Arnold and Vinicius were also spotted around the paddock as the football stars traded the Bernabéu for the Grand Prix atmosphere.

The setting was familiar in one sense, as players accustomed to huge crowds and intense scrutiny appeared comfortable among the packed grandstands and paddock guests as Formula 1 returned to the Spanish capital.

The event also attracted a remarkable collection of sporting figures beyond the current Real Madrid squad.

Football icons David Beckham, Zinedine Zidane and Roberto Carlos were all in attendance, while former tennis great Rafael Nadal was spotted at Ferrari.
