Lazio have reportedly made a €10 million offer for Aaron Wan-Bissaka, which West Ham swiftly turned down.
Claret & Hugh reports that the proposal was considered derisory, with West Ham valuing the right-back at least double after his impressive World Cup. The 28-year-old is tied to the club until June 2031.
A Crystal Palace academy graduate, the Congolese international earned a £50 million move to Manchester United in the summer of 2023, then joined West Ham later that year for £15 million.
He was viewed as a key figure but, after a fall-out with head coach Nuno Espirito Santo, is no longer in the club’s plans. Despite his outcast status, the recently relegated side are not prepared to sell cheaply.
Lazio may see an opportunity to land an experienced full-back. Even so, their focus remains a striker and another centre-back alongside Danilho Doekhi. Gennaro Gattuso already has Adam Marusic, Romano Floriani Mussolini and Manuel Lazzari at right-back, with Lazzari expected to leave.
