Leeds weigh three Premier League left-backs after Gudmundsson setback, Bielsa once bid £18m for one

Leeds United may seek temporary cover at left-back after Daniel Farke said Gabi Gudmundsson could miss the first two Premier League matches.

Crystal Palace’s Borna Sosa is a set-piece specialist who arrived from Ajax in 2025 for a modest fee but backed up Demetri Mitchell, playing seven league games in 2025-26. Leeds were credited with an £18m bid during Marcelo Bielsa’s tenure in 2021, which did not materialise. He could now be available for much less.
