Leny Yoro receives first France call-up

Manchester United defender Leny Yoro has received his first senior international call-up for France.
The 20-year-old replaces former Liverpool and current Real Madrid defender Ibrahima Konaté, who has picked up a right knee injury during training.
New France boss Zinédine Zidane has now brought in Yoro for their opening Nations League games against Turkey and Belgium away from home and then Italy and Belgium again at home.
Yoro first joined United from Lille in the summer of 2024 and has since featured 70 times for the club, scoring once. He has played in four of United's first seven games this season but was on the bench for last weekend's 1-1 draw away to Fulham.
