Man Utd learn Ndiaye asking price in transfer battle for Everton star

Everton will demand around £70million for in-demand star Iliman Ndiaye amid interest from Manchester United and Al-Hilal. Ndiaye, 26, is a wanted man after a couple of eye-catching seasons on Merseyside.
The forward is open to leaving Everton and his camp would encourage a bid from the Saudi Arabian side. But United are also in the running, with left wing among their priorities this summer.
Michael Carrick's side have shortlisted Ndiaye and are tracking his situation. The Athletic report that Everton are aware of Al-Hilal's interest, although no talks between clubs have taken place.
It's added that Everton are expected to ask for a fee similar to the £70million that Barcelona paid Newcastle United this summer for Anthony Gordon. Ndiaye also has three years left on his contract and the Toffees are in no rush to sell him.

Ndiaye has come to the forefront of United's options after Morgan Rogers went to Chelsea for £117m and Yan Diomande indicated that he wants to join Real Madrid. However, their search for a left winger isn't as pressing as other areas, with Marcus Rashford due to be integrated back into the squad after a season on loan at Barcelona.
There have been claims that Everton would like to hand Ndiaye an improved contract in order to fend off interest, but he's rejected their proposals. The Toffees paid £15m for Ndiaye two years ago when he arrived from French giants Marseille.
The former Sheffield United star has scored 17 goals and provided three assists in 71 appearances for Everton. Ndiaye went to the World Cup with Senegal, starting one of their four games as they reached the last 32.

Despite playing 127 minutes, he came away with one goal and two assists. Prior to the World Cup, Ndiaye revealed that his ambition is to play in the Champions League. "You don't know where football will take you next," he told Sport Bible.
"As I've always said, I want to be the best player and to do that, you have to play at the top. I want to be playing at the top level. I want to be playing Champions League football."
