Schalke sealed the deadline-day signing of Hwang Hee-chan from Wolves, and Miron Muslic has talked up the forward’s finishing as he settles in. According to BuLi News, the South Korean is aiming to rediscover form with the Gelsenkirchen club.

Hwang has not featured yet and will wear Raúl’s old No. seven this season. Muslic said the club sought his profile and highlighted his power and explosiveness, describing him as a natural-born finisher.

The 30-year-old is already known in Germany, having scored two goals for Hamburger SV in the second division in 2018-19. For RB Leipzig, he did not score in 20 Bundesliga appearances.

If he can replicate his 12-goal Premier League return from 2023-24, Royal Blue supporters would be ecstatic.

Hwang may get his first chance to open his Bundesliga account tomorrow, Friday, at 20:30 CET away at 1.FC Union Berlin.
