Newcastle winger hits the ground running in 2026/27 🔥

Anthony Elanga joined Newcastle from Nottingham Forest in 2025 with plenty of promise.

However, the Swedish winger struggled in his first season at St James' Park and failed to score a league goal throughout the entire campaign.

Elanga has seemingly put those former demons to bed after a fine start to the new campaign.

The 24-year-old scored in Newcastle's Premier League opener last weekend as the Magpies held Liverpool to a 2-2 draw.

And Elanga continued his mini goal-scoring streak with an excellent turn and finish to put Newcastle ahead against Spurs on Saturday.

Is this a turning point for the Newcastle attacker?
