The Premier League returns to TV listings as the 2026/27 season kicks off, with champions Arsenal hosting Coventry City on Friday night.
As reported by The Standard, Arsenal ended a 22-year wait by lifting the title in May, then beat Manchester City 3-0 in the Community Shield. Chelsea start under Xabi Alonso, and Roberto De Zerbi’s Tottenham have overhauled their squad.

Sunday 23 Aug: Brighton vs Aston Villa, 2pm, Sky Sports Premier League, Manchester City vs Bournemouth, 2pm, Sky Sports Main Event, and Newcastle vs Liverpool, 4.30pm, Sky Sports Main Event and Premier League.
Monday 24 Aug: Fulham vs Chelsea, 8pm, Sky Sports Main Event and Premier League.
Saturday 3pm fixtures are not televised due to the 3pm blackout.
