Premier League transfers, new Leeds rivals land giant keeper as Palace lose £52m star

With three weeks until Leeds United begin their second season back in the Premier League, deals keep dropping. One new Leeds rival have signed a six foot nine goalkeeper for £8.5m, and Crystal Palace have lost a £52m standout.

According to yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk, Arsenal have recruited Christos Tzolis for £34m, Illan Meslier on a free, Piero Hincapie for £25m and Elijah Upson. Leandro Trossard joins Besiktas for £15.3m, with Jakub Kiwior to Porto and Karl Hein to Werder Bremen.

Aston Villa add Johan Manzambi for £50m, Alejandro Garnacho on loan, Joao Gomes for £38m and Modou Keba Cisse. Morgan Rogers heads to Chelsea for £117m, Youri Tielemans to Manchester United for £35m, with further exits including Andres Garcia and Yeimar Mosquera.

Bournemouth bring in Alvaro Rodriguez for £21m. Departures include Marcos Senesi on expiry to Tottenham, Alex Jimenez to Fiorentina on loan, and Luis Sinisterra’s permanent switch to Cruizeiro, while Andoni Iraola leaves to become Liverpool’s new head coach.

Brentford sign Jannik Schuster for £17.2m, Jaidon Anthony for £17m, Callum Wilson on a free and Sam Sene-Richardson. Jordan Henderson is released and is set to sign for Chelsea, Frank Onyeka joins Coventry City for £8m, with several loans completed.

Brighton pay £50m for Luka Vuskovic and £20m for Pascal Struijk, and add Zadok Yohanna, Costinha, Michael Svoboda and Rodrigo Rego. Jan Paul van Hecke moves to Tottenham for £52m, others leaving include Jeremy Sarmiento and Diego Coppola, James Milner retires, and Joel Veltman, Solly March and Adam Webster depart at expiry.

Chelsea land Maxence Lacroix from Palace for £52m, Morgan Rogers for £117m, Marco Palestra for £43m, Geovany Quenda for £40m and Harrison Bettoni, and appoint Xabi Alonso. Out go Marc Cucurella for £51.8m, Andrey Santos for £50m, plus several loans.
