Regis Le Bris insists Arsenal are the best team in Europe right now

Regis Le Bris is preparing his Sunderland team to face Arsenal in the Premier League this season and admits the Gunners are the best team in Europe at the moment.

Mikel Arteta is doing a brilliant job with his squad, and his players have adopted a winning mentality, which is why it has become so difficult for the team to drop points in any fixture.

Arsenal have a brilliant squad, and their group of stars have performed very well in recent seasons. They continue to remain as hungry as ever, and perhaps even hungrier after finally winning the league.

After securing the title, Arsenal have continued to perform well at the start of this season, and it is easy to see why they have been tipped to deliver again by the end of the campaign.

Le Bris expects difficult Arsenal test

Arsenal will be looking to beat Sunderland when both clubs meet this weekend, and Le Bris knows it will be a difficult game for his team, considering the quality of their opponents.

He said via the Metro:

‘I think this season they are flying right now.

‘They are the best team in Europe, they were so impressive yesterday, for example.

‘Five wins in a row, I think, now, so the run is really impressive. What we learned, to be competitive in this kind of game, you have to be yourself, I think.’

Arsenal praised for winning mentality

Le Bris clearly believes Arsenal are operating at an extremely high level, with their current form making them particularly difficult to face.

The Gunners have developed into a team capable of competing against the strongest opponents, while Arteta has continued to get the best from his players.

Their winning mentality has become one of their biggest strengths, and Sunderland will need to produce an excellent performance if they are to compete with Arsenal.

With the Gunners enjoying such an impressive run, Le Bris knows his team face one of their toughest tests of the season, but he believes Sunderland must remain true to themselves if they are to be competitive.
