Report: Gyokeres camp hold talks with Milan and Juventus over Arsenal exit

Milan and Juventus have opened talks with Viktor Gyokeres’ representatives as the Arsenal striker weighs up his future.

According to CaughtOffside, the Sweden international is frustrated at dropping down the pecking order, with Mikel Arteta now clearly favouring Kai Havertz as his first-choice number nine. Gyokeres’ camp have held initial discussions with both Serie A clubs, as well as Saudi sides Al Ahli and Al Ittihad.

Arsenal would want a Gyokeres replacement first

Arsenal are not actively looking to sell, but there could be flexibility in January if a big-name forward can be brought in to replace him.

Gyokeres joined from Sporting for €67m including add-ons in 2025. He never fully convinced in his first season at the Emirates, but still finished with 14 Premier League goals and 21 in all competitions as Arsenal won the title and reached the Champions League final.

For Juventus, the interest fits a wider search for attacking solutions, with Luciano Spalletti’s forwards only recently getting off the mark. Milan, meanwhile, are relying on summer record signing Goncalo Ramos under Ruben Amorim.
