After Spain's victory, Mia Khalifa shared a video on her social media using Rosalía's song "La Perla": "The local disappointment, national heartbreaker, an emotional terrorist, the greatest global disaster, he's a pearl, no one trusts him, he's a pearl, one to be very careful with," Mia sings (in Spanish).

In addition, in the video, Khalifa wrote: "How life sounds now that the perlas have been defeated".

This clip was shared by the singer, but in Argentina it was interpreted as a mockery and a lack of respect toward her albiceleste fans, who reacted by returning the tickets for the 4 concerts Rosalía had scheduled in the country in August and asking people not to attend as a form of protest.

After the publication, moreover, messages of rejection began to multiply on social media, and harsh criticism also emerged from some Argentine media figures.

During the program "La Trinchera" broadcast on the digital streaming channel "Carajo", known for having an ultraliberal and "libertarian" editorial line, one of its columnists commented on her dissatisfaction and disappointment with the artist over her behavior: "Rosalía surprised me. Doesn't she have advisors? For an artist like that to make fun of us… I got angry, I removed her songs from my playlist", she revealed.

However, while he was speaking, one of his colleagues referred to the singer as "fat, wh*re, and lesbian." The clip went viral on social media and sparked outrage among several users.

Meanwhile, given the magnitude of the reaction, the singer deleted the post and published an apology message:
