Santos And Sesko To Start | 4-2-3-1 Manchester United Predicted Lineup Vs Brighton

Manchester United will entertain Brighton and Hove Albion at Old Trafford on Wednesday night as they look to secure a good result at home in the EFL Cup. The Red Devils suffered a tough 1-0 loss at the hands of Manchester City in the Premier League recently, so they would be eager to bounce back by securing a win in midweek.
Michael Carrick will set his players up in a 4-2-3-1 formation and is expected to make some changes to his starting XI for this game. Andrey Santos and Benjamin Sesko could all play from the start of the clash.

Defence
Senne Lammens will function in between the sticks for Man United after conceding one goal in his last appearance. Harry Maguire will continue to play alongside Lisandro Martinez at the heart of Carrick’s defence as they look to keep things solid at the back on the defensive end of the field.
Diogo Dalot will try to catch the eye as the right-back, while Noussair Mazraoui hopes to prove his worth on the other side as the left-back. Both of them will get the freedom to go forward and join in on the attack.
Leny Yoro will offer cover for the defensive positions on the bench.

Midfield
Kobbie Mainoo and Andrey Santos will anchor the midfield for Man United as they focus on winning the 50-50 battles at the centre of the park.
The talented trio of Patrick Dorgu, Bruno Fernandes and Bryan Mbeumo will operate just ahead of them as part of Carrick’s attack. All three of them need to combine well if the Red Devils are to come out on top in this cup game on Wednesday night.
Mason Mount and Youri Tielemans will be named on the bench as they wait for their chance to influence the game in the second half if needed.
Benjamin Sesko will spearhead Man United’s attack up top. He has to figure out a way to be a real menace in the final third.
Joshua Zirkzee will have to be content with a place on the bench and might come on to make an impact in the latter stages of the game if the Mancunian club are in need of a goal.
